Reconnect to yourself and your experience.

Individual therapy for men in CO.

Do you have trouble understanding or expressing your emotions?

As men, many of us were never shown how to express our emotions. Instead we were taught to withdraw, push down, or withhold our experience from others.

Over time, these emotions can build up and manifest in ways that can negatively impact our well-being and relationships, leading to:

  • Feelings of frustration and anger - which may cause sudden outbursts of strong emotion.

  • Feelings of depression, numbness, and emptiness.

  • Feelings of inadequacy and incompetency - that you’re a failure or ‘not man enough.’

  • Feeling isolated and alone - that no one understands you and you can’t tell anyone about you’re struggles.

Therapy is a space for you to process your experience without judgment.

How therapy works

You can become a better man, a better partner… a better person.

Men often feel immense societal pressure to conform to a certain standard of what a man ‘should’ be. And when we feel like you don’t hit the mark, we may feel shame and guilt, leading us to withdraw from others and push down our emotions.

But what if you were able to change this? What if you were able to redefine for yourself what it means to be man?

Therapy can help you increase your awareness on how constructs of masculinity have negatively impacted you, while also giving you the freedom and space to decide how you want to show up as man, and as a person, in your life, work, and relationships.

This may include processing harmful messages you absorbed from your father, friends, or other male figures in your life and healing from the lingering wounds these messages may have caused.

It’s possible for you to feel seen, heard, and understood for who you are, separate from what society or others expect from you. It’s possible to feel more in control of your life and feel confident in who are as an individual and as a man, and I can help you get there.
